Frequently Asked Questions

Some frequently asked questions about the service that you may have questions about

What exactly is the Business Audit?
It's a structured, outside-eyes review of your business across six key areas — strategy, operations, financials, team, marketing, and growth readiness. You get a written report, a visual gap analysis, and a strategy session to walk through the findings. The goal is simple: you leave knowing exactly what's working, what's leaking, and what to fix first.
How is this different from hiring a consultant?
A consultant typically comes in, does the analysis, hands you a report, and leaves. The Business Audit includes coaching sessions to actually work through the findings with you — so you don't just know what the problems are, you have a clear plan to address them. It's analysis plus accountability, not just a deliverable.
How long does the audit take from start to finish?
Typically 2–3 weeks from the first session to receiving your final report and completing your debrief call. The timeline depends on how quickly we can gather information and your availability for the review sessions. Larger businesses (Scalability Diagnostic tier) may take up to 4 weeks.
What information do you need from me?
Basic financials (P&L, revenue breakdown), an overview of your team structure, any existing marketing or operational data you track, and your honest assessment of where things feel stuck. You don't need to have everything perfectly organized — part of the audit is identifying what's missing.
What do I actually receive at the end?
Depending on your tier, you'll receive a 15–30+ page written diagnostic report, a Business Health Scorecard with Red-Yellow-Green ratings across all six areas, a prioritized recommendations list, and one or more strategy sessions to review findings and map next steps. Everything is custom to your business — not a template.
Will you help implement the recommendations?
The audit itself is a diagnostic — it tells you what to fix and in what order. Implementation support is available through Ignite 90 or Growth Plus, which are ongoing coaching programs. Many clients use the audit as their entry point and move into a coaching engagement once they have their roadmap. That said, many of the quick wins identified in the audit you can act on immediately yourself.
How is this different from a financial audit?
A financial audit looks narrowly at your numbers and accounting compliance. The Business Audit looks at the whole picture — strategy, operations, team, leadership, marketing, and growth readiness. Financials are one piece of it, not the whole thing. If you need a formal financial audit for legal or tax purposes, that's a different service entirely.
What size business is this for?
The audit is designed for established businesses — typically $500K to $20M in annual revenue with at least a small team. If you're pre-revenue or just starting out, a one-on-one coaching engagement is likely a better fit. The three pricing tiers are calibrated by company size — from solopreneurs up to 100-person teams.
Which tier is right for me?
Business Pulse Check ($2,000) is right if you're a solopreneur or have 1–5 people and need fast, focused clarity. Growth Audit ($3,500) is the most common choice for businesses with 6–25 people who want a deeper review with team input. Scalability Diagnostic ($6,000) is for businesses with 26–100 people dealing with more complex operational and leadership challenges. Not sure? Book a free discovery call and we'll figure it out together in 30 minutes.
What industries do you work with?
The audit framework applies across industries — it focuses on business fundamentals that don't change regardless of sector. Sekhar has direct experience in manufacturing, construction, real estate, education, e-commerce, food and beverage, and technology. If your industry isn't listed, reach out — if the business has strategy, operations, and a team, the audit applies.
How do I know this will actually be useful and not just generic advice?
Every audit is built around your specific business — your numbers, your team, your market. There are no templated recommendations. Sekhar has 14 years of Fortune 50 experience identifying operational bottlenecks and $50M+ in documented cost savings — the same pattern recognition he applies to your business. The report you receive will be specific enough that you could hand it to your leadership team and they'd know exactly what to work on.
How do I get started?
